At the Patch!

Gavin and Gunner have had the privilege of going to Kathy's Pumpkin Patch two times already this year! They went with Mimi, Papa, Emily, Gracie, and Ella the first time while Mommy and Daddy went to Culver's Homecoming. They had a blast playing in the corn bins, taking a wagon ride pulled by horses, seeing the bee exhibit, and lots more! Then, mommy took the boys back with her friend Tara and her kids and a couple of other moms. Of course, we had to play in the corn again! We also took a hayrack ride out to the pumkin patch and Gavin picked out his own pumpkin. We went through the small corn maze, too! Gavin enjoyed the rubber duck races and ruining his bright white socks! With almost three weeks left before the patch closes, I would say they haven't seen the last of us this season!

Gunner's First Birthday Party

Gunner's first birthday party was a huge success! Due to his love of tractors and trucks, we went with a construction theme. Uncle Brian even brought his excavator to add to the decor! We were very thankful for our new garage as it decided to storm about 2 hours before the party was supposed to start. It came down pretty hard for quite a while but cleared off as the guests started to arrive. We were surprised that Gunner had little interest in eating his cake as there isn't much food that he passes up. I would guess that he was just tired of sitting in his high chair after eating lunch and wanted to run around with the other kids. Thanks to everyone who helped us give Gunner a fantastic birthday party!
