"All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth!"

Well, he didn't get two, but he did get one! Although we can't get a picture of it yet, Daddy first discovered Gavin had a bottom front tooth come in at the Neally Christmas! That explains the constant fussiness, drooling, and fists in his mouth. Once again, he's getting to be such a big boy!!

Christmas Tour 2006 - Carthage

Our last stop on the 2006 Christmas Tour was once again, Carthage. We celebrated the Neally (Alisha's paternal side) Christmas at Mima and Papa's house this year. Grandma and Grandpa Neally flew back from Florida to host the gathering. Again, many family members met Gavin for the first time! He had a lot of fun with his cousins Jack and Sophia who are the closest to him in age. We had a delightful meal, exchanged gifts, and watched a little football. It was a great day!

Happy 4 Month Birthday, Gavin!!

Yes, we realize Gavin's shirt is a wee bit big for him! We purchased it in a 12 mo. size so we could watch him fill out it out with each passing month. It won't be too long before it fits him just right! At four months, Gavin now weighs 14 1/2 lbs. and is 26 1/2 inches long. He rolled over for the first time on the 26th but continues to get angry when he's on the floor. He can bear all his weight on legs and we've been told that he may skip the crawling stage because he loves to stand up so much. We try to give him more floor time because we really don't want this to happen. He is drooling profusely and always has to have something in his mouth. Both of these are obvious signs of teething but no spottings yet!

Chistmas Tour 2006 - Home

After spending a couple of nights in Marshall, we headed for home for a few days of rest! During this time, Gavin turned four months old and had his first serving of solids. He didn't know what to think of the rice at first, but he soon grew accustomed to it. He's such a big boy!!

Chistmas Tour 2006 - Marshall

On Christmas afternoon, we then traveled to Marshall, MO to grammy and grampy's house. Uncle Lance was there, too! Clint's Uncle Jim, Aunt Theresa, and cousins Caitlyn, Todd, Sophia, and Cati also celebrated Christmas with us. Although Clint missed out on all the hunting fun, we still had a wonderful time visiting and exchanging gifts. We missed Uncle Brian, Aunt Cynthia, Aunt Maria, and Logan! Wish we all could have flown to Hawaii! We received fabulous news that Cynthia and Logan will be coming to mainland in January! We're all very excited!!

Gavin was acting a little silly upon arrival after all the driving we had been doing!

Christmas Tour 2006 - Carthage

Our next stop on the tour was Carthage, Illinois, where we would spend Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with Gavin's mima and papa. We attended Christmas Eve services at New Testament Christian Church in Keokuk, IA, and then headed home for some snacks and to await Santa's arrivial. We awoke Christmas morning to a feast prepared by Papa while Mima watched Gavin so Mommy and Daddy could sleep in. Gavin was spoiled with gifts but he loved every one of them. It was a very special Christmas for mommy to spend with her husband, son, and family. The only thing that would have made it more special was if Uncle Josh, Aunt Lea, Aunt Jen, Matt, and Gabe could have been there to celebrate with us. We missed you!!

Mommy's best friend, Ashley, stopped by to see Gavin. I believe she got a little baby fever???

Christmas Tour 2006 - Jefferson City

Our Christmas Tour began on December 23rd at the Bassmann Christmas (Clint's Maternal side) in Jefferson City, MO. It was Gavin's first time meeting many of family, including his great grandma Mary. He got lots of love and some wonderful presents.

Photo Shoot With Mima

Gavin got to spend the day with Mima while Daddy was sick and Mommy was at work. We are so thankful to everyone who helped us out during the week while the sitters kids were at risk of having Whooping Cough and Clint came down with a stomach virus. We greatly appreciate it! Hope Gavin wasn't too much trouble! Here are some precious photos Mima and Papa took while he spent the day with them.

This is "prop" that was used to decorate during the Tour of Homes. I think they should have "borrowed" Gavin to use as part of the scene as well! That would have topped it all off!
