Since Daddy wears ties to work now, the boys enjoy dressing up in them when he gets home. I thought these pictures were really cute!

Official Soccer Mom!

Yep, we finally did it! We purchased a minivan! With the soon-to-be-arrival of our baby girl, we had to look into transportation other than our Explorer. The three car seats did not fit in the back of our suv, plus it would not have allowed for other passengers. (such as our fourth child that I will sneak in in a few years :-) ) Grammy and Grampy Grothaus bought our Explorer, so hopefully it will be good or all of us! We purchased our 2006 Chrysler Town and Country from Derr Motors in Keokuk. The color is called magnesium. We were blessed to find a van with low mileage and in great condition, and most importantly, at a great price! We are thankful to Bruce for working with us and helping us find a great van in our budget.

At the Patch!

Gavin and Gunner have had the privilege of going to Kathy's Pumpkin Patch two times already this year! They went with Mimi, Papa, Emily, Gracie, and Ella the first time while Mommy and Daddy went to Culver's Homecoming. They had a blast playing in the corn bins, taking a wagon ride pulled by horses, seeing the bee exhibit, and lots more! Then, mommy took the boys back with her friend Tara and her kids and a couple of other moms. Of course, we had to play in the corn again! We also took a hayrack ride out to the pumkin patch and Gavin picked out his own pumpkin. We went through the small corn maze, too! Gavin enjoyed the rubber duck races and ruining his bright white socks! With almost three weeks left before the patch closes, I would say they haven't seen the last of us this season!
