We were so thankful to be able to take Gavin to St. Louis for his first day-after-Thanksgiving shopping. Clint decided he would have too much fun so he thought he'd stay home to do some hunting. It has been a tradition in my family for several years...my mom, dad, sister, nephew, and I stay in a hotel the night of Thanksgiving and get up early the next morning to hit all the early bird sales. We have so much fun! Dad is such a trooper because he always takes our bags to the car for us and waits in line to get us pretzels at Auntie Anne's. He is also in charge of keeping Gabe (my nephew) entertained most of the day. As any of you with toddlers know...it's not an easy task! But he loves every minute he gets to spend with him. We got a little later start this year with Gavin, but we still had a pretty productive day. Gavin did so well! He is such a good baby! He really enjoyed watching all the activity throughout the day. Jen and Gabe had to leave for California on Saturday but we still managed to make it back to the mall for a picture with Santa!

oh, alisha, gavin is just adorable!! it was so great seeing pics of you and jen and your kiddos!!! how great!... looks like you all had fun and looks like your parents are loving the grandparent thing too!:) you guys are brave going out the day after thanksgiving!
A shopper in training! Good to start him out right...but then I wouldn't expect anything less!! He's so adorable!! And I love the pics with Gabe, too. Both are such handsome little guys!!
These pictures are too cute. They'll be treasured forever. Thanks Clint for your support of letting our family tradition carry on with our precious new addition. It was so much fun even though everybody else thinks we are crazy.
