Baby Gunner

Since I don't have any pictures of Gavin to post today, I thought I'd give you a little update on our little Gunner. As of today, he is approximately 21 weeks and three days old. By the end of this week, he'll measure about 7 inches from crown to rump and weigh nearly a pound. Not bad for a little guy who weighed barely an ounce 10 weeks ago! His hearing is developing, and sounds from my conversations can be heard inside the uterus--along with my heartbeat, stomach rumblings, and the pulsing of blood vessels. In fact, the womb is so noisy that it's been compared to an airport runway during takeoff; it's thought that the stimuli prepare the baby for the cacophony of noises, sights, and sounds that will greet him at birth. Pretty exciting and interesting, huh?

I Believe I Can Fly...

Walking Wings!! What will they come up with next? We saw pictures of Logan using these and knew we had to get some! Everyone can save their backs walking with Gavin from now on! Mima was able to pick some up for us at BRU in St. Louis. They are pretty comical!! We still have to bend over some until Gavin gets used to them and then we can hold on to the ends of the straps.

Garage Sale Finds!

Mommy ventured out to the city-wide garage sales on Friday! Grandma Annie would be so proud of me! I did not pay full price for any of my purchases! So far, Gavin loves the elephant and the dump truck full of legos (not pictured). Maybe I will be able to venture up to the White Eagle Garage Sales and find some real treasure!!

Just in case you didn't get enough of the camo!! Here is a better picture of my outfit!!

Jump!

I had to post this picture because Daddy actually took it! Gavin and Daddy spent the day together while Mommy ran some errands in Quincy. Daddy should take pictures more often!

Gavin and Ella

Gavin and his friend Ella Greving are enjoying a night out at Fiddlestix.

Sunshine

Unfortunately, Gavin is less interested in wearing his hat and sunglasses these days. I absolutely cannot get him to keep his glasses on and I have to distract his hands to leave his hat alone. He quickly found out it's hard to see when he doesn't wear his shades.

There go the glasses! At least we still have the hat for protection!

OOPS! Mommy spoke too soon!

Where's the Beach?

Gavin enjoys playing catch with his beach ball. He really has fun standing up and kicking it around the house. At times, he also like to eat it!

Our Little QB

Does this number look familiar, anyone? Gavin's daddy wore this number during his playing days. This is actually a bib that fits around the child like a shirt. Mima picked it up thinking we would enjoy it--not knowing the significance of the number 11. If it were closer to Halloween, we could wear it for a costume!
