- cutting out and using coupons. I never used to actually use them, but with budgeting for a family of three, I am getting better at it!
- buying the generic brand. I try to buy the generic of anything I can. For example, we use Wal-Mart's Awesome brand toilet paper and paper towels. They're just as good as the others and much cheaper. We buy anything Sam's Choice that we can as well. I like to do this kind of shopping w/o Clint and Gavin because it takes me so long to find the best deal, but I enjoy it.
- JCPenny $10 coupons. You get $10 off of a purchase of $10 or more. I never used to use them before I had Gavin because I didn't shop there much. But now, I can basically get one or two free outfits for Gavin (depending on the price)! People ask me if I feel guilty not buying something else or something more expensive to actually give them a sale, and the answer is no! If anyone gets these and doesn't use them, PLEASE send them my way! Gavin and I will make great use of them!
Gavin loves:
- talking on his changing table. This is where he coos and smiles the most!?!?

I've never heard of those coupons. Why would you feel bad? If JC Penney is giving them out they're probably making money off it some way or another and I doubt that a salesperson is greatly affected by it. We also buy generic as much as possible. I've never tried generic tp though. We should give it a try. I usually have to remind Josh to get generic when he goes to the store.
Gma Annie would be very proud of you. When it comes to a deal, gma Annie can find the best but maybe you'll be able to start giving her a run for her money. Dave Ramsey would be proud of you -- of course, dad and I are very proud. Thanks for a GREAT weekend. It was so fun seeing you on the floor again -- one last Bluegirl hurrah. Gavin was rootin' for his mommy and you made him proud. It was fun getting to show him off to everybody. Love you!!
Bargains are something we search for when it's our hard-earned money! It's fun to go to the store and see how much you can save! I'll have to try out the TP and paper towels...those are two things I don'g get too adventurous with!
Yes, I use coupons quite a bit yet. Takes alot of time and energy, so depends on how much energy I've got at the time and if I can get the coupon items at Walmart and don't have to stop at other stores. Somehow, the whole shopping scene has lost it's allure for me, the older I get!! Keep on going, girl! Enjoy yourself!! Love you and your precious family!!!
