My First Haircut!! Gavin's hair was getting rather long around his ears and in the back. We decided we'd better get it trimmed up before it turned into a mullet. Who better to give us our first cut than Aunt Cynthia! She did a great job even with the wind blowing and Gavin climbing all over Daddy. In just a couple more months she'll have to fly back and do it again!
Happy Seven Month Birthday, Gavin! He is now 28 1/2 inches long and weighs 18 pounds. He loves to eat his baby food and is less and less interested in his bottle. He has cut four teeth already and looks as if he will shortly be getting more! He has starting saying "da da" on a frequent basis, although I think he'd have much more fun saying "ma ma"! Gavin pretty much sits on his own with the occasional toppling over. He will army crawl/scoot to get his favorite toys, but he'd much rather stand himself up and hold onto someone's hands to get places faster. He is such a strong boy and so much fun right now. We look forward to seeing what new and exciting milestones this month will bring.
The piano continues to be one of his favorite toys.

Wow! I can't believe how much of a little man he's turning into already. I love the stage of crawling, standing, and starting first words.
Looks like Gavin enjoyed spending time with his cousin. What great timing to have Aunt Cynthia and Uncle Brian to be able to babysit Gavin. Go Cards Gavin!!!!! Papa can't wait until you're big enough to go take you out to the ballgame!!!!!
These pics are SO CUTE!!Looks like Gavin had a blast w/his cousin and visa versa!! He'll soon be walking! Then LOOK OUT!! How cute to have his first haircut on film! Sure nice to have his aunt do the honors, huh? Keep up the good work, Alisha!! We love being able to 'watch' his growth and progress by way of this blogspot!! Love you all!!
I can't believe that he had his first haircut already! It doesn't seem possible.
