The fish definitely had no problems biting this go around! Almost every cast led to a fish on the line! They are still very small but fun to catch.

Looks like everyone had a blast fishing!! Pretty handy having your own 'fishing hole' right there! Just wait 'til those fish get big enough to eat, huh?
Did Gavin use the fishing pole his Grandpa Grothaus bought for him? Logan has one but he hasn't used it yet.
We didn't bring our Superman fishing pole because we knew Gavin would be too young. I wish I had after we got there because mommy would have used it! I didn't fare too well with the adult pole.

Perhaps we can come to visit and fish with the family and Gavin sometime this summer. I have caught only one fish in my lifetime, but maybe I could catch a 2nd one.

Ali, you forgot to tell Cynthia that you used the pole you bought Gabe over a year ago for Christmas -- Spongebob -- and we surprisingly found it after the big move into the new house. Although remember Gabe wanted to break out Spiderman fishing pole he saw in Gavin's room when he was there. Can't believe you captured a picture that looks like Gabe is grabbing the fish. Eeewww, it's slimy. He was so funny. A big thanks to Uncle Clint and Papa for helping Gabe fish -- and ALL their patience with him. "I do it! I do it!" :-) What great memories!
